Barbara Duncan Marchetti
Barbara Marchetti brings more than 25 years of experience in executive search, leadership consulting, professional development and business strategy. An internationally recognized strategist, trainer and public speaker, she has partnered with hundreds of companies and thousands of executives around the world.
Barbara began her career in the staffing industry, serving as a Vice President and General Manager for both national and privately held firms. In 1991, she founded Preferred Resource Group (PRG), a Boston-area consulting firm providing customized training and strategic consulting to the staffing and recruiting industry.
Through PRG, Barbara became recognized nationally as an innovator in the industry, helping organizations improve productivity, strengthen leadership and maximize the return on their talent investments through the design and implementation of global best practices.
Barbara has always embraced innovative approaches to reaching and developing leaders. As an early adopter of technology for professional training and consulting, she expanded her reach through webinars and virtual learning, connecting with clients and professionals across the globe.
In 1998, Barbara expanded her work into retained executive search, and in 2006 rebranded the firm as C-suite, opening an office in Manhattan. Today, C-suite provides high-touch, personalized retained executive search services for leadership roles from Director through the C-suite, along with executive coaching and leadership advisory services.
Barbara earned her B.A. from Colby College and completed graduate studies in Business Management at Lesley College. She has served in leadership and board roles with organizations focused on education, workforce development and economic opportunity, including Austin Preparatory School and One Family. She also served as Co-Chair of the New Hampshire Technology Alliance’s Workforce Development Committee.
