Barbara Duncan Marchetti
Barbara brings over 25 years of experience impacting the executive infrastructure of business and industry. An internationally known business strategist, trainer and public speaker, she has helped hundreds of companies and thousands of executives globally.
After several years in the staffing industry as a Vice President and General Manager for both national & privately held firms, she launched Preferred Resource Group in 1991. Based out of the Boston area, PRG provided customized training and strategic consulting to the staffing & recruiting industry. It is here where she gained recognition at national platforms as an innovator in the staffing industry, lecturing and training companies on how to improve productivity and ROI on their talent assets through the design and implementation of global best practices.
In an effort to keep up with the demand for her knowledge and techniques, Barbara was one of the early adapters of utilizing technology as a vehicle to provide consulting and training. Her webinars expanded her bandwidth and reach to a global audience.
In 1998, she expanded into retained, executive search. Re-branding the company as C-suite in 2006, she opened an office in Manhattan. C-suite continues to offer high touch, customized, retained executive search services focusing on Director levels up to the C-suite.
Barbara received her B.A. from Colby College and completed her Masters studies in Business Management from Lesley College. Her board positions include the Board of Trustees for Austin Preparatory School, a private, independent school serving students in grades 6-12 and the Board Chair for One Family Scholars, a comprehensive college scholarship program that breaks the cycle of poverty and family homelessness for low-income single parents.
